About MOWIFLEX™
MOWIFLEX™ is a non-toxic, water-soluble thermoplastic material based on polyvinyl alcohol. It can be moulded into various shapes using standard plastic technologies, such as extrusion or injection moulding. It’s widely used to create different water-soluble items, from packaging materials to 3D printing filaments and even degradable oilfield tools. MOWIFLEX™ also excels at forming complex geometries for water-soluble support structures.
Industries Used
MOWIFLEX™ can enhance the properties of other plastics when combined with them. It can be added to polyamides, which increases their permeability for applications like smokable sausage casings.
