As the Managing Director at Kuraray India, I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for the support and understanding extended to Kuraray Co., Ltd. and the Kuraray Group.

Kuraray was founded in 1926 with the objective of commercializing rayon. Since then, the group has vigorously pursued social responsibility and proprietary technologies, seeking to uphold the mission: “For people and the planet — to achieve what no one else can”. Kuraray India Private Limited is a local subsidiary established in September 2008 as a base of operations to facilitate the sales and market development of Kuraray’s unique products in India.

As a member of a society that is responsible for the future, Kuraray needs to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. In order to achieve this, we need to tackle with address various social issues such as climate change, plastic waste and accelerating the transformation to a circular economy. We will do our utmost to tackle with these issues and continue to be an “irreplaceable company” that is needed by society.
